So Far, So Good

Today I woke up had a shake and then walked 2 miles!! I feel really good about it. I walked 2 miles on Tuesday and Wednesday also. As far as the diet this week, eh. Not the best, not the worst.


Shake: 350 in total
coffee 100
6 inch subway turkey and ham sandwich on wheat with american cheese and lowfat honey mustard sauce with a bag of baked lays
for dinner I am taking a lean cuisine with me.
Snack I'll have an apple and maybe yogurt.

Well, that's all for now. Off to work...

Hump Day

Today was my first day back to work from my relaxing vacation and of course it had to be a very busy day. The good thing about a busy day is that I'm too busy to think about eating until I am really hungry, which could be good or bad thing as long as I keep healthy eating in mind and don't go on a binge. I feel really good about my diet today, I think I shorted myself on calories though.

Breakfast: shake with 2% milk and banana 320?
2 cups of coffee 100
Green Giant steamed veggies and chicken patty 300 cal
apple 100
1 mini cupcake. ?
I am having dinner at my Dad's tonight. His girlfriend is on WW, so I know I will get something healthy. All I have to worry about is portions and my after dinner walk.

Darryl and I have been taking an after dinner walk every night, about 2 miles. So, maybe I can get everyone to come with me tonight.

This is what I actually ate today:

Breakfast: Carnation Instant Breakfast with 2% milk and 1 Banana
Lunch: Chicken patty with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and tomatoes
Medium Pumpkin Latte (light) with 1 slice of reduced fat crumb cake strawberry : )
1 piece of chocolate
1/2 bagel with reduced fat cream cheese
1/2 peanut butter sandwich & 1 cup of milk
Dinner (later): lean Cuisine (beef and mac) with 1 cup steamed broccoli
Snack (later): yogurt and grapes.

Will be taking a walk after dinner..

Down 3 Pounds!

I weighed in this morning and I am down 3 pounds!! YAY!!

My plan for today:

Shake with banana for breakfast

Chicken patty sandwich for lunch with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and tomatoe

I always lose my way with snacks! Argh!!! (if anyone has tips - please share them)

Snack # 1: BACON - just kidding... ummm... Popcorn from my air popper with nothing on it or a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk.

Dinner: Lean Cuisine and steamed broccoli, glass of milk.

Snack # 2: freakin freak.. I can think of a million things to eat but when it comes to snacks it's hard to think of something small and healthy. I like to eat sweet stuff before I go to bed... oh oh oh. I know. I'll have a light yogurt with a handful of grapes in it. yay!! I did it!

Also today, I will be going for a walk after dinner and I am getting on my bike for 15 minutes as soon as I finish this.

I will also be drinking plenty of water.

For the first couple of weeks I am only going to walk and do the bike. I am not going to do strength training until I start to plateau. I want to lose this weight the right way this time. I am really going to do it.

I have been having heart palpitations and my back hurts even when I sleep. I can't take it anymore. I am only 28, aren't I supposed to be living the good life? Well, I will, soon..

Good Morning

I finally weighed in at 345.2 and I figure my healthy weight to be 145 so that means I have 200 pounds to lose. I know I can do it, I just have to keep doing the same thing everyday just like Val and I talked about last night. When I did WW I learned that it's best for me to have a daily plan but to have it prepared the night before. So, I should have done this last night, but I was too tired to stay up any longer. This is my plan for the day:

1 cup of coffee with 3 Tablespoons of sugar free hazelnut creamer (45 cal)
Carnation shake with FF milk and a banana
1/2 cup cottage cheese for snack
Turkey sandwich on wheat with steamed veggies
popcorn for snack
lean cuisine for dinner

I haven't figured out the calories, but i know it's around 1500.

Today I am going to the store and getting more fruits, in the past that has always helped.

Time for a change

Today, I'm not sure what I weigh. I slipped on a pair of 26 size jeans, they were snug and i'm pretty sure that the only reason I am not turning blue from the waist down is that they are made from stretchy jean material. I hate stretchy jean material and I am ready for a change.
