I just finished my workout for the summer challenge. WOW!! It will get your heart pumping, that's for sure. I am really excited about it, I have been sticking to it all week. Except, I was supposed to do a 30 minute walk on Monday and Wednesday, but I did not have time. I just did the workout, which is pretty good for me. My diet has been okay, nothing major. I went to this place last night called Panchero's and had a burrito, then I had ice cream. I'm not going to be too strict on myself, I do really well during the day. Today and tomorrow I work in the evening, so I will do really well. Plus D works this weekend, then next weekend he is away.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, that's it for now. It was a core workout, which was good because my legs were still sore from my workout on Friday.  Today, the assignment had me do crunches, reverse crunches, bicycle crunches and plank. I was also supposed to do a 30 minute walk, but I did not have time. I am excited about the challenge and no matter what, I will do my best to complete all the workout assignments.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My diet was pretty good today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had egg beaters for breakfast with ham.&lt;br /&gt;Turkey and ham wrap for lunch with some greens from my garden and a small piece of cornbread.&lt;br /&gt;Yogurt&lt;br /&gt;stir fry for dinner&lt;br /&gt;and a bratworst, and a fudge pop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow my super awesome sister is giving me a fierce new haircut, I'm pretty excited about that. Also, it's Zumba Tuesday!!! But I am back, and still on the mission of weight loss and healthy living. I still do Zumba every Tuesday at 11am and I take a kickboxing class whenever my schedule allows.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just signed up for a Summer Challenge if anyone is interested:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;http://www.neversaydiet.com/summer-body-shape-community-challenge&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's always hard for me to stay motivated during the summer being that it is so hot here, it was 102 on Saturday. I am so excited that I was the biggest loser for the week. So that's pretty great too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week i'm going to concentrate on setting aside time to eat correctly. Since I don't go to work until later today, I'm going to plan my meals for the week. Usually I just pull something together as I head off to work. Except, I think I didn't eat enough and maybe my body is holding on to the fat. I worked out almost every day this week doing cardio. I did some strength training yesterday and I plan to do more cardio today. But the scale said I gained yesterday and today I'm down 2 pounds from last week. I should be happy about the pounds, and I am, but I was hoping for a little more. Maybe it's the whole "week 2" thing. I did lose a lot of weight last week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It has been really busy at work this week and next week will be worse. Several times this week I didn't eat dinner and I didn't eat any snacks. Sometimes I only went to the bathroom once in 10 hours.  Most of the time I ate:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oatmeal with FF milk&lt;br /&gt;Chicken with salad&lt;br /&gt;no dinner&lt;br /&gt;popcorn&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My days off I eat better, usually I have Subway for lunch and a good dinner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just went and bought a lawn mower and weed eater with my Dad. He helped me mow the grass, man that was a workout. You never realise hgow big your yard is until you mow it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I am headed off to see Val. I think we are going to the gym for latin aerobics and Eliptical!! Cool.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I did pretty good though I did have 2 cookies from Subway. I am debating weather I should join the wellness center gym. You see, I already have workout equipment in my garage, but I don't like it. I have a treadmill (old) and bike (old, loud, ugly) which are free. The gym however, will give me more motivation because I can see other people doing cardio, they have group fitness (such as: yoga, pilates, yoqi - ti chi &amp;amp; yoga, etc), cardio equipment (such as: elipticle, treadmills, starclimbers, row machine, bikes, etc)  but it costs $52/month through payroll deduction (D's job) and it's kinda far from my house. So do I join and spend money or just bite the bullet and do cardio at home? When I got to work, I told Vesna that I was not allowed to have candy and I moved the bowl up front, where I could not grab a piece in secret (Thanks Val!!). She then moved it back to the back, I guess she didn't understand what I meant. So, I picked it back up and said "no, really. I can't have any candy". Then when other people came in, I told them too. It was very successful, I didn't even have one piece and I didn't want any either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today was really busy, I was on my feet most of the day and I wasn't too hungry. I didn't even get to eat lunch until I got off work at 3:00pm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I at a LC for dinner and just got back from my walk. My legs are still throbbing. Darryl and I finally decided that we are going to start martial arts classes right down the street. We will go when we lose more weight. I hope a certain someone will come too.  : )&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can't wait to get on the scale!!! I want to do it tomorrow just to see... I don't really have to plan it out anymore I am just used to it now. But yesterday I had a shake for breakfast and coffee, then Val and I went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch and it was so good. I had a huge salad with everything I could think of on it. Then we went and walked over the Ringling bridge and saw the holiday Boat Parade (well some of it, until it got cold).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then I had popcorn and a pudding for snack.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today promises to be a very boring day. Sunday. But i have a lot of things to do at work and also I found out they are moving me back to the store I originally came from. I have been sticking to my plan for two weeks now and I only cheated one time. Becky and Eva brought 3 pieces of a cheesecake thing. I honestly could have resisted it, but i had done well and they were only 100 calories each. So I had 2 and saved the other for Darryl. I am so anxious to weigh in early just to see. But I have patience and control, I will wait until Monday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not too much else to say, I worked out like I was supposed to this week. I only walked on Tuesday and Wednesday but I am trying to take it easy on my foot. It seems to be getting a little better. Once it is healed, I will be a walking fool! Fo Sho!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today is my long day at work noon til 11pm. woo hoo. I won't be applying for the position at the branch closer to me. I will be starting school in January and I think it's best I stay where I am, my work schedule and school schedule will fit pretty well. Then I get the joy of going to "amcrack" bright and early, to endure another day of 5 customers (5 if i'm lucky). But I did find out that someone in my position was fired Monday at a busier store. It's a possibility that I may get transferred. I'm feeling kinda down about that, It's almost like they put me at this slow ass location to forget about me. I won't be forgotten. he he he... Nayways...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is how it went down today:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;Shake&lt;/span&gt; (carnation instant breakfast, 1 cup fat free milk, 1/2 banana, 1 tsp safflower oil)&lt;br /&gt;Campbell's healthy harvest (something like that) &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;chicken noodle soup&lt;/span&gt; - NASTY, I ate half of that then threw it away and had half a turkey sandwich&lt;br /&gt;1 cup of coffee with Becky.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;Apple&lt;/span&gt; for snack&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;Lean cuisine&lt;/span&gt; (chicken parmagan - new recepie) my new favorite. I also really like, from the Spa classics, grilled chicken with pasta in a garlic sauce, it has twice as many veggies as a regular Lean Cuisine and it has asparagus, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes. Man that is awesome. I never liked asparagas until now. They say your taste changes every 7 years, but it seems like mine changes more often. Actually, I think i just try more stuff now.&lt;br /&gt;Walked 2 miles.&lt;br /&gt;I will have &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;popcorn&lt;/span&gt; with D for snack before bed. It's kind of hard to believe that's all I ate today. It wasn't hard either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My MRI was pretty scary, I guess i'm a little clausterphobic. I was trying to calm myself down and do deep breathing exercises but the lady called over my headphones and told me I was moving and that we had to do this one part over again. So then, I started breathing more shallow and it made me freak out a little. I was trying to focus on not moving and it felt like my legs wanted to twitch, then my crotch started to itch and I had to focus on other things. It was definitely, trying for me. I'm glad it's over and I hope I never have to do that again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The cat scan only lasted 3 minutes, nothing to say about that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow is my workout day:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bench Press&lt;br /&gt;Lat Row&lt;br /&gt;Shoulder raise&lt;br /&gt;Bicep Curl&lt;br /&gt;Tricep Extension&lt;br /&gt;Leg Extension&lt;br /&gt;Leg Curl&lt;br /&gt;Calf Raise&lt;br /&gt;Low Back Extension&lt;br /&gt;Crunches&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I only do 1 set of 15 reps so it doesn't take long, just about 20 minutes. But it's enough to make me sweat and make my arms feel like noodles. I am so happy and proud of myself, I can't even believe it. I was really good about controlling my calories and cravings and it paid off!! My cravings were pretty manageable, I meditated, chewed gum and drank a ton of water. I feel like this time it's for good. The only thing I did that was bad, was that I ate tootsie rolls. My plan yesterday:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Shake for bfast&lt;br /&gt;soup for lunch&lt;br /&gt;apple and yogurt for snack&lt;br /&gt;Then I ate some cake frosting (i hate admitting that, but it was only a little. Then I threw it away)&lt;br /&gt;Lean Cuisine for dinner with a yogurt&lt;br /&gt;a sugar free pudding for snack with Reddi Whip.&lt;br /&gt;I also drank a lot of water and I had a cup of coffee but I didn't drink the whole thing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today will be pretty much the same minus the tootsie rolls and cake frosting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am going to go through my fridge and ditch anything bad. I know I have some cream cheese and cupcakes in there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Things to do today: (in no particular order)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Pay my insurance and water bill.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Go to SPC and pay the enrollment fee&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Fill out Fafsa&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Order transcripts from MCC&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Workout&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Imagine that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The plan:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Carnation instant shake&lt;br /&gt;1 cup fat free milk&lt;br /&gt;banana&lt;br /&gt;1 tsp of Safflower oil&lt;br /&gt;multivitamin&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bowl of Campbell's chunky beef veg soup&lt;br /&gt;1 slice of wheat toast with 1 tsp butter&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;water water water water...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Carrots, popcorn&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;water water water water&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lean Cuisine, yogurt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pudding&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, I will not be eating after 8pm (I chose 8 because I work late)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you noticed, I have added Safflower oil to my diet. When I was on WW, they recommend you have 2 tsp of oils a day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, I had a Dr appointment today where we addressed my weight and back. I was really surprised she didn't make me feel terrible about my weight. We talked about healthy eating and snacks. But she did ask me if I ever thought about Lap Band. I said of course, but I would like to give it a good try on my own before I would consider it. I do get down in the dumps and think of it every now and then, But I have to do it my self.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been having headaches a lot lately, I have one now, and she has me going for an MRI for the back and CT scan for my head. They will call me in a few days for an appointment. I will keep posting about it. YAY! I worked all day from 8:18am til 6:45pm. Yay me. Yeah, right. Well it was a murderously slow day, to be expected. Everyone was hanging with their families eating turkey.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, anyway I came home from work and made a turkey breast and mashed potatoes and stuffing and deviled eggs and we finally ate dinner at 10 ish. It was really awesome and now I have turkey for the rest of the week. I really love turkey, I think I should bake one every week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have not blogged the last couple of days and I feel really bad about it. Sorry Val! No excuse would be good enough to write. I haven't been keeping track of calories for the past few days but I've tried to keep an eye on my portions. I have been working out. Actually, yesterday I was so tired all day and I told myself that when I got home I was going to take a nap. But I didn't. I started watching The Biggest Loser from Tuesday night that I had recorded on my DVR and totally forgot about working out. Until they got to the part where they did the last chance work out. I got my butt off the couch and worked out, actually hearing them do the workout motivated me to work even harder at mine. I finished feeling like a noodle and man did I sleep well last night. It was really worth it and I felt accomplished. : )&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've noticed that it is easy for me to get off track when people stress me out. Like my sister. But, I probably use that as an excuse too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, she started school this week and Eva asked if I would take her on Thursday and Friday, so I agreed (partially because it involved $20). I go over there to pick her up and I had 1 cup of coffee, 1 little debbie oatmeal pie thing, egg mcmuffin (300 cal), and 2 chocolate chip chewy cookies. So, I got off to a rocky start today, but I can redeem myself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffcc00;"&gt;The Plan:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Turkey Sandwich for lunch: (270)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2 slices of wheat bread (80)&lt;br /&gt;3 slices of Turkey (90)&lt;br /&gt;mustard (0)&lt;br /&gt;100 cal bag of popcorn (100)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dinner (310)&lt;br /&gt;Lean cuisine...don't know which one yet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2 snacks at 100 cal each, banana and yogurt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;I WILL NOT EAT AN TOOTSIE ROLLS AT WORK  TODAY!! I FREAKIN SWEAR!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc0000;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;I suppose that's all I have to say for now, except: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another thing on my mind is my education. I was on the HCC website and I think my AA will be in Education, then transfer to USF for Psychology. I'm just rolling that around right now. Since it is so nice outside, I will really try to ride my bike. i will really really think about it. You see, he left me at a traffic light, so he already crossed the street and i was waiting for it to change. But I do recognize what i did wrong, which is good because atleast I am learning. I haven't been planning my meals, I have been stressed about a change in work and a new work opportunity. I have to get back on track. Val has been a HUGE inspiration, she convinced me to go on a walk with her on Saturday at Clearwater Beach. The beach was beautiful, the walk was brutal. We walked for 3 and a half hours straight, barefoot, on the beach. It was okay on the way down,  but on the way back we ran out of water and I was sure i would die and be eaten by the seagulls. (they are ruthless btw). NEway, we made it back (obviously). I feel really good about it.  I walked 2 miles on Tuesday and Wednesday also. As far as the diet this week, eh. Not the best, not the worst.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Shake: 350 in total&lt;br /&gt;coffee 100&lt;br /&gt;6 inch subway turkey and ham sandwich on wheat with american cheese and lowfat honey mustard sauce with a bag of baked lays&lt;br /&gt;for dinner I am taking a lean cuisine with me.&lt;br /&gt;Snack I'll have an apple and maybe yogurt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, that's all for now. The good thing about a busy day is that I'm too busy to think about eating until I am really hungry, which could be good or bad thing as long as I keep healthy eating in mind and don't go on a binge. I feel really good about my diet today, I think I shorted myself on calories though. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;Breakfast: shake with 2% milk and banana 320?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;2 cups of coffee 100&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;water&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;Green Giant steamed veggies and chicken patty 300 cal&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;apple 100&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;1 mini cupcake. ?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;I am having dinner at my Dad's tonight. His girlfriend is on WW, so I know I will get something healthy. All I have to worry about is portions and my after dinner walk. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#6666cc;"&gt;Darryl and I have been taking an after dinner walk every night, about 2 miles. YAY!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My plan for today:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Shake with banana for &lt;span style="color:#ff6666;"&gt;breakfast&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chicken patty sandwich for &lt;span style="color:#ff9966;"&gt;lunch&lt;/span&gt; with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and tomatoe&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I always lose my way with &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;snacks! Argh!!!&lt;/span&gt; (if anyone has tips - please share them)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9966;"&gt;Snack # 1&lt;/span&gt;: &lt;span style="color:#996633;"&gt;BACON&lt;/span&gt; - just kidding... ummm... Popcorn from my air popper with nothing on it or a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9966;"&gt;Dinner:&lt;/span&gt; Lean Cuisine and steamed broccoli, glass of milk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9966;"&gt;Snack # 2:&lt;/span&gt; freakin freak.. I can think of a million things to eat but when it comes to snacks it's hard to think of something small and healthy. I like to eat sweet stuff before I go to bed... oh oh oh. I know. I'll have a light yogurt with a handful of grapes in it. yay!! I did it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also today, I will be going for a walk after dinner and I am getting on my bike for 15 minutes as soon as I finish this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will also be drinking plenty of water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For the first couple of weeks I am only going to walk and do the bike. I am not going to do strength training until I start to plateau. I want to lose this weight the right way this time. I am really going to do it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been having heart palpitations and my back hurts even when I sleep. I can't take it anymore. I am only 28, aren't I supposed to be living the good life? I know I can do it, I just have to keep doing the same thing everyday just like Val and I talked about last night. When I did WW I learned that it's best for me to have a daily plan but to have it prepared the night before. So, I should have done this last night, but I was too tired to stay up any longer.
